It automatically responds to customer questions using your website content, documents, and instructions. It can capture contact details (leads), provide basic support, direct users to contact forms or human operators (live chat) where needed, and much more. Essentially, it's a virtual assistant working non-stop 24/7/365. The AI functionality is powered by OpenAI models.

The widget appearing on your website will be identical to what you see in the bottom right corner of this screen. Minor customisations relate to your branding (logo, colours, and minimal text). Large-scale changes aren't available as we use OpenWidget's free solution as the foundation for creating the AI chatbot.

The AI chatbot draws information from:

• Your website's available content
• Files (e.g. FAQs) you provide in PDF, DOCX, etc.
• Any other information you want it to know (e.g. how you prefer visitors to contact you – via email, phone, contact form, etc.)

In every case, your AI assistant doesn't "guess" – it uses the information you've given us for training.

It supports English and other languages – it can understand and respond in multiple languages. Text understanding and generation is handled by OpenAI models (GPT-4o mini and GPT-4o).

These are artificial intelligence systems that "understand" questions and compose responses (e.g. GPT-4o mini for fast/economical flows, GPT-4o for more complex but costlier operations).

This isn't feasible as responses are given in near real-time. However, you can train the chatbot to avoid responses on specific issues or to suggest responses as you prefer.

The widget loads asynchronously, so it doesn't affect speed (Core Web Vitals) or user experience.

Our aim wasn't to create another solution like the hundreds available online. Most of these offer numerous additional features that are useless for the vast majority of websites/businesses. Instead, we wanted to create a service with the core functions that genuinely help a business without the increased monthly cost.

Yes, if you already have a live chat service, we can add the ability to manually transfer the conversation to a human if the visitor chooses. If you don't have one, we can suggest solutions.

1 conversation (chat) = 1 user question + 1 AI response. For example, the 1000-message plan allows your website visitors 1000 question-and-answer exchanges. You don't need to understand "tokens" – we manage these internally and have simplified the terminology and pricing.

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is a method where the chatbot first searches for relevant content from your sources (website, documents, FAQs) and then composes a response based on these elements. This way, it doesn't "guess" the answer but relies on your actual texts.

How it works in simple terms:

• Content processing: your material is "broken" into small chunks and stored in an index (vector store).
• Search: when the user asks, the system finds the most relevant chunks from the sources.
• Synthesis: the model creates a response using these chunks as documentation (optionally with citations).

Benefits for you:

• Greater accuracy and fewer vague or undocumented responses.
• Easy updates: change your site/document content and the bot follows without fine-tuning.
• Lower cost: only relevant excerpts are sent, not all material.
• Control and consistency: responses align with your official information.

The goal is concise, accurate responses from your own material. If information is missing, the bot doesn't "invent" – it asks for clarification or suggests contact. Question understanding and response text synthesis is handled by OpenAI models.

In larger plans (Pro and Premium), we use the more "powerful" model (GPT-4o) and can add technical manuals or other technical information to respond with maximum accuracy.

For now, and to keep the service cost low, we don't support order management – meaning the AI bot cannot provide information about the progress and status of your e-commerce orders. However, it works for all other information on your website.
